Southern Dunes golf course was designed by Steve Smyer and its not often in Florida that locals and tourists find a course in Florida that has such unique topography to it. This dramatic hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100 ft. of elevation change, large undulating greens, massive high lipped bunkers, Dunes that are covered with high grasses and ornamentals, which form borders that tumble with the terrain. Southern Dunes vacation rentals have beautiful views of the course.

Just outside the gates of Southern Dunes vacation rentals, within easy walking distance, is a 24 hour Wal Mart superstore which sells just about anything you can think of, from food to pool toys! There are also several other smaller shops, banks, fast food and family restaurants, our favorite being the popular Manny’s Chophouse. Eagle Ridge mall is 15 minutes drive away and offers several major stores, such as J C Penney and Sears and a cinema. Posner Park shopping complex with its huge selection of shops and restaurants is on the way to the Disney parks which are just a 30 minute drive. Legoland is only 20 away from Southern Dunes vacation rentals.
