THE Spring Games

The MIAA Conference tournament mirrors the 2024 Spring Games, with all four competing teams having also participated in THE Spring Games this year. Adrian College, Trine University, Calvin University, and Hope College. Their performances in Sunny Central Florida were remarkable: Trine University went 8-0, Adrian College 8-2, Calvin University 9-1, and Hope College also achieved a 9-1 record.

Top Hitters

Hope College: Kate Demann has posted a .364 batting average, 12 doubles, and 18 stolen bases. Kate has been a key factor in Hope College's success this year.

Adrian College: Senior Karson Bagelmann with the team on her back is hitting an incredible .538 with 14 extra-base hits and 39 stolen bases.

Trine University: The powerhouse of Trine University is not shy of finding the barrel with a team batting average of .373. Debbie Hill has led the powerhouse with 12 home runs! With 13 players batting over .300 it is no surprise the defending champs are looking to go back-to-back.

Calvin University: Dole and Decker have been the two wrecking forces in this 30-win Calvin lineup. Both are swinging a hot bat with 54 Runs Driven in between the two this year.

Top Pitchers

Hope College: Samantha Vermeesch has been the go-to gal in the important games. Samantha has put up a 2.2 era in 79 ⅔ innings. With a total of 91 strikeouts, Verneesch is averaging over 1 strikeout an inning.

Adrian College: Schang and Patton have been co-aces for Adrian College this season totaling 234 of the 270 innings played. Both with an era under 3.0

Trine University: Alexis Michon has pitched 110 innings for Trine this season with a total of 122 strikeouts and an impressive 1.53 era.

Calvin University: Brooke Hunderman has been the top spinner on this Calvin Pitching Staff with 140 strikeouts in 115.2 innings. Brooke holds a 1.39 era and limited the hits against her with an opponent's batting average of .163
